Rh Program of Nova Scotia

The Rh Program of Nova Scotia focuses on the prevention and management of problems caused by Rh and other blood group antibodies, and provide an education and consultation service for health caregivers in this area. The Rh Program promotes the administration of Rho(D) Immune Globulin when indicated.

A written order is required for all injections of Rho(D) immune globulin. The Rh Program of Nova Scotia supplies two versions of the order form; one for caregivers in the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM), and one for caregivers in other areas of the province. Both versions of the form outline the indications for use and the dosage required. For your convenience, the order forms can be downloaded and printed for use.

Order Form for Rho(D) Immune Globulin, HRM Version: This form includes specific directions for arranging outpatient injections within the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM). (Revised October 2022)
Order Form for Rho(D) Immune Globulin, Provincial Version: This form allows for specific local directions that caregivers can provide for women having outpatient injections in areas of Nova Scotia outside the HRM. (Revised May 2018)

Pamphlet for Women/Families
